Structure
Directly on the sea, which is separated only by a beautiful pine forest that forms part of the village, the complex consists of a village area with newly built hotel rooms and apartments (opened in 2009) and a camping area (tents and bungalows in wood), located between the service area and the village area, with which it shares the wide range of sports facilities and activities offered. It offers an excellent quality / price ratio and is suitable for an informal clientele.
Distance from the sea
Sea area in front of the complex with direct access largely characterized by low cliffs and small sandy areas. Within 1.5 km, free sandy beaches, an integral part of the Torre Guaceto Marine Reserve.

Excursions
The Meditur overlooks the Adriatic Sea and is a good starting point for those who would like to visit the beauty of the Apulia region with their family or with an organized excursion.
Going west you can visit Alberobello and the mythical Valle d'Itria known for its unique houses (the famous trulli, Unesco heritage), Cisternino with its ancient hamlet Martina Franca; also the medieval castles of Oria and Carovigno. A visit also deserves Grottaglie for its beautiful castle and the district of ceramics renowned all over the world.
Going north you can visit Castellana with its beautiful caves.
A little further we find Castel del Monte. Mysterious and spectacular octagonal castle, residence of Frederick II. Consisting of eight octagonal towers and an octagonal interior, it seems that this building is a praise to the number eight, a very important number in history.
Another attraction for children and adults is definitely the Fasano Zoo safari where you can watch live by moving comfortably in the car, many free savannah animals in the park and spend some hours in the adjacent dolphin park and playground.
Going south you can visit the city of Lecce, the cradle of the beautiful baroque in the historic center, the port of Gallipoli, the castle of Otranto, the cave of Zinzulusa, ....
Another day you can devote it to nature lovers to visit the Oasis Naturalistica of Torre Guaceto, a land reserve and marine managed by the Consorzio di Torre Guaceto, next to our accommodation.
Finally, in a few minutes (about 15 km) you can reach OSTUNI "the white city", surrounded by ancient olive trees. With its wonderful historic center and numerous restored farmhouses spread throughout the countryside, it has become the holiday destination and / or summer residence of many characters in Italian entertainment and politics.
In short, at the Meditur village camping you can spend quiet hours at the sea or in the swimming pool, cheerfully by the animation team and associate cultural and fun excursions to the physical knowledge of the region and, why not, to enjoy typical Apulian dishes.
