The Grand Le Fonti is a beautiful historic building dating back to the early 1900s, completely renovated and subjected to a careful restyling process, located in the heart of Chianciano, along the main street of the town from where it dominates the central Piazza Italia.

Chianciano Terme and surroundings

Chianciano Terme is located about 500 meters above sea level in Val di Chiana, a short distance from the Val d'Orcia, in a relaxing landscape and much appreciated every year by thousands of tourists, which provides an excellent base both for thermal treatments on site and for exploring the beauties of Tuscany and Umbria, not far away. Chianciano has been famous for its thermal baths since ancient times: in fact the Etruscans and the Romans had already noticed the extraordinary properties of the waters that flowed from these parts and had built a town, as evidenced also by the numerous finds now housed in the local Archaeological Museum. Besides, Chianciano Terme is just a few kilometers away from one of the most important Etruscan cities, Chiusi, so much so that according to some the village gravitated precisely in the orbit of this important city.
